Chisinau, 2 April 2003

Vladimir Guritenco, former Minister of Labour and Social Protection (1998-1999), will top the list of candidates of the Democratic Party of Moldova (DPM) for the Chisinau Municipal Council. The DPM will put up for elections its own party lists in the Chisinau municipality and in most of its suburbs, as well as in most of districts, both for councilors and for mayors. The DPM has not decided yet on which candidacy for mayor of Chisinau to support.
